DAY ONE 2018
My classroom is decorated with an ocean theme. Fish, crabs, seashells, and other aquatic animals abound. With that in mind, I chose this adorable fish themed dress to wear for the first day of school.

I wore my fanciest Lancome makeup today, since I knew I'd be meeting some of the parents for the first time. I wanted to make a good first impression!
Yes folks, I wear socks with my dresses. They help my sensible shoes feel more comfortable and add a bit of unexpected flair to my outfits. PLUS, the kids love them!
Naturally I am wearing my oh-so-sensible Dansko shoes with my outfit. As a middle-aged woman with lousy feet, I appreciate the stability and comfort of this great pair of shoes.
